About Me

My photo
Anita M.
Welcome to my blog. My name is Anita and I am a country kid who has transplanted into a subdivision with my husband of 20 years who is also a country kid transplant. We currently live just outside of the city limits of a fairly large city in the Midwest. We built ourselves a timberframe home doing 98% of the work, affectionately called The Barn. We have successfully launched our oldest to college and the youngest just two years behind her. We've also added a wee one, my girlfriend's 1 year old to the mix 3 days a week. This gives a whole new meaning to letting go and moving with/around the curves. Life stays interesting and busy as we journey along the path God is leading us down. Come join me in my musings: things cooked up, lessons learned throughout my day along the path and the lessons learned from our school day at "The Barn".
